Password Safe LightClient for companies: Simple provisioning, high benefit
Security tools for companies are becoming more and more complex to use in order to meet the growing security requirements. "Rolling out a modern and uniform IT security system of various sizes can therefore push a company to its limits," says Thomas Malchar, Managing Director of MATESO. The LightClient can be used company-wide without previous knowledge or training effort. Limited to the essential functions such as SSO, password generator and administration as well as a web view, it convinces with high usability across departments. Every employee is quickly and securely integrated into the Password Safe company landscape.
Version 8.7: A new milestone for Password Safe
The feature set of the client has been greatly extended in version 8.7. Passwords are now linked via the application module. This allows users to search for applications and start them with the desired credentials. Data sets can also be equipped with icons and logos via image management. For this purpose, the previous icon and logo view is available.
The browser add-ons have been strongly adapted and optimized: When the user logs on to a website, he is automatically asked whether he wants to save or update the login data in Password Safe.
The WebClient was extended by the revision-safe logbook and notification module. In the organizational structures, it is now also possible to manage rights templates. For more usability, users can right-click anywhere in the WebClient to access the context menu.
