Before the International Welding Competition, the 14th National DVS "Young Welders" Competition will take place at the fair from September 13 to 15, 2021. Germany’s best up-and-coming welders will compete against each other here.
In the National DVS Competition and in the International Welding Competition, the up-and-coming welders will gauge themselves against each other in both individual and team competitions in the manual welding processes – Gas Welding, Manual Metal Arc Welding, Metal Active Gas Welding and Tungsten Inert Gas Welding. On the DVS joint booth in Hall 3, the winners will be chosen in front of the public at the fair.
DVS is looking forward to further international teams which would like to be involved in the International Welding Competition.
DVS – German Welding Society is a technical-scientific society which, encompassing over 120 years of experience, is dedicated to the more than 250 different processes for joining, cutting and surfacing. The heart of all DVS activities is the joint technical-scientific work. It stands for the persistently close interlinking of contents and results from the fields of research, technology and education. The affiliated companies of DVS process the results from the society and present them to the outside with their own main focal points.
