Arvato Systems Becomes a Member of the German Retail Association

  • Arvato Systems has joined the German Retail Association (Handelsverband Deutschland – HDE e.V.)
  • As an extended supporting member, the IT specialist is represented for the first time as an exhibitor at the Retail Congress Germany

Arvato Systems has joined the German Retail Association (HDE e.V.). As the umbrella organization of the German retail sector, the HDE sees itself as the industry’s mouthpiece vis-à-vis politicians at federal and EU level, other business sectors, the media, and the public. As part of its membership, Arvato Systems will contribute its IT expertise regarding digital transformation in the retail sector.

Industry-specific comprehensive solutions from a single source
As a top service provider for the German retail industry, Arvato Systems’ membership in HDE brings it even closer to the needs of its customers. Arvato Systems provides the industry with a wide range of IT solutions. This gives German retailers access to entire solutions from a single source.

Developing together towards the future
"We are pleased that the HDE and Arvato Systems will be working together to support retailers on the road to digitization in the future. Many retailers have already become more digital in recent years, and digital solutions will continue to gain in importance. Having a strong partner with industry expertise at our side is particularly important in the current difficult times," explains HDE CEO Stefan Genth.

"I am very much looking forward to working with HDE and its members," says Axel Mattern, Vice President Business Development at Arvato Systems. "I am convinced that all sides will benefit from this partnership. HDE has welcomed us with open arms. We believe that together we will further develop retail in Germany toward the future."

Arvato Systems brings expertise to the Retail Congress Germany
This year, Arvato Systems is exhibiting for the first time at the Retail Congress, which takes place on November 16 and 17 in Berlin. As every year, the congress is organized by the HDE and the EHI Retail Institute. As a silver sponsor, Arvato Systems will be presenting its portfolio of solutions for the value creation process in modern retailing. In addition, the IT expert will host the exclusive workshop "New Opportunities for Retail – Customer Loyalty with Digital Assets in the Metaverse" on the topic of Web 3.0 and Loyalty 3.0.

In the workshop, participants will learn,
– how they can use digital assets to create an additional level of customer loyalty,
– how to expand traditional incentive programs in brick-and-mortar retail with the help of digital     assets, and
– what new opportunities Web 3.0 opens up for transformation processes.
