Sustainable from the start: ASPION combines innovative high-tech with healthy growth

Since it was founded in 2011, ASPION GmbH has consistently focused on sustainable and responsible conduct in all areas of the company. From the development of energy-optimized and durable products to regional partnerships, the experts in smart transport monitoring take clear measures to ensure healthy growth and resource conservation. The family-run company has been growing entirely by its own efforts from the outset – always with a focus on sustainable and ethical business practices. ASPION’s constant commitment was once again recognized by BITMi last week as part of the 20th anniversary of the IT Entrepreneurs’ Day in Frankfurt.

Awards for ongoing commitment

ASPION has been awarded the “Software Made in Germany” and “Software Hosted in Germany” seals of approval by the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand (BITMi) for its tried-and-tested solutions with well thought-out design and continuous innovation. As part of its consistent efforts in the area of sustainability and digitalization, the company is actively committed to fair and transparent standards and European digital sovereignty with the “BITMi Code for Sustainability and Digitalization” and the “fair.digital” initiative. With the associated measures, ASPION will continue to consistently implement its responsible, sustainable actions with healthy growth in the future.

Customers and environment benefit from smart solutions

“Sustainability is deeply rooted in our product development. By interconnecting processes intelligently, companies save valuable time and costs and reduce their resource consumption,” says Martina Wöhr, Managing Director of ASPION. With ASPION’s energy-efficient and durable data loggers, companies create transparency in the supply chain, optimize supply chain processes and secure their valuable goods in global delivery traffic. In addition, customers benefit from improved packaging and load securing and at the same time contribute to greater sustainability in their value chain.

Regional production and partnerships

ASPION works with national suppliers and organizations as much as possible to strengthen the regional economy and ensure short transport routes. Production and storage are carried out by regional partners, for a transparent value chain and minimal CO2 emissions. The reusable ASPION transport data loggers “Made in Germany” consist of recyclable components and promote the environmental balance.
