Sensor expertise on site: Leuze at the LogiMAT 2024

The Sensor People from Leuze present innovative solutions to increase efficiency in intralogistics at the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. The Leuze trade fair team welcomes visitors from March 19 – 21, 2024, in Hall 3, Stand C60.

Increasing efficiency, higher speeds and maximum availability require intelligently networked systems and highly automated processes in the area of intralogistics. Under the motto "Forever forward. Together." Leuze’s exhibit at LogiMAT 2024 shows how the Sensor People can provide support in this area with innovative sensor solutions. In addition to its product innovations for intralogistics, Leuze presents a new safety solution from its wide range of safety solutions.

The most compact intralogistics positioning system on the market

The automation of positioning applications is becoming more and more flexible and warehouse vehicles are becoming ever more compact. Leuze developed the new AMS 100i positioning sensor for this purpose: With the small design in combination with the minimal dead zone of just 100 mm, Leuze offers the most compact laser positioning system on the market.

World’s first safety bar code positioning system

The world’s first safety bar code positioning system, FBPS 600i, requires just one sensor for safe position detection. The device is connected via two SSI interfaces and is suitable for applications up to performance level PL e. As a result, safety functions can be implemented extremely easily and the time and effort required for installation and servicing is reduced.

New safety solution for access guarding on AGV transfer stations

In addition to current safety products, Leuze presents another example of a safety solution: access guarding on robots/AGV transfer stations with the RSL 400 safety laser scanner. With this concept, Leuze demonstrates a solution for smooth material flow and gapless safety.
