Logistics Hall of Fame: Council meets at Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport

  • Who will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame and who will be Logistics Leader of the Year 2023?

Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominates four candidates. The final decision is made by the jury.

The induction of the new member will take place on November 29 at the "Tipi am Kanzleramt" in Berlin.

This year’s finalists for induction into the international Logistics Hall of Fame have been determined. The Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominated four of 14 Personalities for induction. The 2023 Logistics Hall of Fame Council members are: Niels Beuck (Deputy Managing Director of the German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association), Marten Bosselmann (Chairman of the German Parcel and Express Logistics Association), Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael ten Hompel (Executive Director of the Institute, Fraunhofer IML), Thilo Jörgl (Managing Director impact media projects GmbH), Oliver Luksic, MdB (Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Digital and Transport), Frank Müller (Senior Vice President and Brand Management, STILL GmbH), Andreas Reuther (Co-Host logistik4punktnull-Podcast, The Podcast for Logistics Professionals), Sascha Schmel (Managing Director of the Association of Materials Handling and Intralogistics in the German Engineering Federation VDMA) and Anita Würmser ( Chairwoman of the jury Logistics Hall of Fame).

The Logistics Hall of Fame documents the greatest milestones in logistics. The decisive factor for induction is that an achievement has significantly and sustainably contributed to the development of logistics beyond the boundaries of one’s own company. The prize is awarded by the Logistics Hall of Fame and donated by STILL GmbH.

Both awards will be presented at the annual gala reception, which will take place on November 29 at the Tipi am Kanzleramt in Berlin.
