GROB is strengthening its global marketing and sales campaign in the aerospace, medical and mold manufacturing markets. We are promoting our full range of 4- and 5-axis universal machining centers, as well as our various automation solutions, which will be presented at the in-house exhibition.

Over the past few years of the pandemic, GROB has used its time wisely to further expand its worldwide sales network in the universal machining center business. Because new potential arises particularly in the universal machining center business with its different areas of: automotive, mechanical engineering, die and mold industries, as well as the aerospace, energy, and medical technology sectors. GROB is currently focused on aerospace, the medical industry, and die and mold industries. Aerospace in particular is again showing an increasing demand for machine tools.

Coordinated universal machining center range with comprehensive automation solutions

In the classic five focus markets, GROB excels with its comprehensive portfolio in the field of 4- and 5-axis universal machining centers and its individually adaptable automation solutions. Our wide product range enables flexible adaptation to capacities and guarantees perfectly coordinated pallet and/or part handling. GROB’s innovative 4- and 5-axis universal machining centers cut to perfection complex and extremely delicate components for customers within the aerospace industry. At the same time, they ensure fast and optimal machining of complex contours in the die and mold industry and can machine almost all materials with absolute premium quality. GROB’s universal machining centers also meet the high requirements of the medical and pharmaceutical industry and guarantee the reliable, highest quality manufacturing of sensitive parts.

Automation solutions with digital support

GROB has significantly increased its range of automation solutions, adapting ideally to the individual requirements of its customers with extensive configuration options. GROB utilizes modular standard solutions such as round or linear pallet storage systems to offer maximum efficiency with versatile solutions. Our portfolio also includes completely individually configurable robot cells. In addition, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are increasingly used. Our automation solutions are complemented by innovative digital products that enable the connection of machines, analysis of their data, increase of their performance and continuous documentation of all process-relevant data. At the in-house exhibition, visitors can experience the versatile applications of GROB machines and automation solutions in a wide variety of customer applications that are presented live.

Concentrated consulting expertise in our in-house exhibition

At the in-house exhibition, colleagues from sales as well as engineering will be present to answer customer questions. Of course, they will be supported by colleagues from the Centers of Excellence with specific expertise who can meet customers on an equal footing and delve deeply into technical discussions on the spot. Industry-standard regulations and requirements will be considered as much as possible in the discussions and in offer preparation. “We will provide our visitors with our concentrated consulting expertise at the in-house exhibition,” promises Tobias Trautmann, GROB Head of Sales for Universal Machining Centers. “There is nowhere better for us than here, at GROB’s headquarters in Mindelheim, to demonstrate the varied applications of our universal machining centers.”
