This is the third recent acquisition of high technology specialists which positions elexis AG and thus its established brands EMG and BST in a leading position. 

The company Mesacon has been in existence for over 60 years and stands for high-precision thickness measuring systems which are sold worldwide. Specifically, they are non-contact measuring systems used for control in rolling mills and for quality control of material and coating thickness in flat products in a wide range of industries. In addition to radiometric systems for the steel and aluminium processing industries, the portfolio also includes laser-optical measuring systems with a wide range of applications. These applications perfectly complement EMG’s product portfolio and are part of the indispensable basic equipment in the production and processing of flat materials, especially in the steel, aluminium and automotive industries. 

The customers benefit in several ways: on the one hand, because they now receive a complete range of solutions from a single source and can be supported even more intensively and comprehensively. This is because the integration of Mesacon into elexis merges the international sales and service networks with local contacts on site. On the other hand because they now have a larger product and service portfolio at their disposal which is continuously being improved.

All in all, the acquisition of Mesacon enables elexis to meet the requirements of its customers even better, true to its brand promise "perfecting your performance".
