The true lasting values

In Schroders’ Global Cities Index, London has retained its crown. It is questionable to what extent oligarchs keep their tangible assets such as yachts.

Values – not everything has the same value for the individual. Despite Brexit, the British capital has once again become the frontrunner among global cities. This means that London scores very well in many areas. These are universities, the economy, the environment, innovation and infrastructure. Because when these factors are good, it attracts skilled workers and drives the economy. Global cities, it was found, remain significant despite more home offices. Boston is second in the rankings, followed by San Francisco. New York ranked fourth, followed by Melbourne. Of the European cities, only Paris made it into the top ten.

So it’s about values, which, by the way, everyone is free to define for themselves. The super yachts of the Russian oligarchs are a big issue right now. Some of them have been arrested, some have fled, but the West is trying to freeze such assets. The largest sailing yacht in the world of the oligarch Andrei Melnichenko was caught in the net. Yachts are very large and cannot be easily hidden and taken away. Certainly, gold as a store of value would have done more credit to its value and handling. Instead of or in addition to physical gold, an investor can also invest in the assets of gold companies. For example, Trillium Gold Mines or Vizsla Silver would come into question.

Trillium Gold Mineshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aRhOGXM5jk – owns approximately 55,000 hectares of land in Ontario in the Red Lake Mining District. The Newman-Todd complex has already produced visible gold and excellent drill results.

Vizsla Silverhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF9c-zfZ3Go – is drilling at the prospective Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico.

Current corporate information and press releases from Trillium Gold Mines (- https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/trillium-gold-mines-inc/ -) and Vizsla Silver (- https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/vizsla-silver-corp/ -).
