New app for project time tracking available

As an extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the extension is tailored to service providers in all industries worldwide who want to record their efforts quickly and completely. The app is available from 21.03.22 via the Microsoft AppSource platform. The prerequisite for using is the installation of DYCE Job Billing.

Time recording plays a central role in project work. This is because contractors can only invoice services in full if they record them without gaps. It is estimated that 20 percent of billable time is lost because it is not recorded or recorded too late. This figure makes it clear that this is where important potential lies for service providers. Roger Friederich, CEO of Singhammer IT Consulting AG, explains: "Tracking project times is relevant to companies’ success. But especially in everyday business with many parallel tasks, gaps can occur here. DYCE Time Tracking can close these with smart functions for a very efficient project time documentation."

Smart usability and templates for fast time tracking processes

As an extension, DYCE Time Tracking can completely replace the time tracking functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Via a clearly structured interface, the app offers intuitive access to all functions and their use. A dashboard clearly displays recorded project times so that they can be accessed directly at any time. Recurring tasks and activities can be documented more quickly using flexible templates. Parameters such as customer, task and activity are then already stored, only specific information such as date and project name still needs to be entered. This saves time and reduces the sources of errors that arise during the creation of new documents.

Improved billing and advanced display options

DYCE Time Tracking ensures the complete recording of billing-relevant times by referencing missing data. In this way, all important information is securely recorded, which can then be used in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, for example. The result is more efficient billing processes. Various display options also provide more transparency: With an overview function, consumption and target times can be compared for comparisons or open time records can be easily kept in view. The dark mode is easy on the eyes and on energy consumption.
