AAEON Awarded Gold Partner in Intel® Network Builders Winners’ Circle 2021 for the Second Consecutive Year

AAEON, a leading manufacturer of advanced hardware platforms for SDN, NFV, SD-WAN and white box uCPE solutions, was awarded Gold Partner again in Intel® Network Builders Winners’ Circle 2021. This is the second consecutive year that AAEON is recognized as a Gold Partner, and also the third year in a row to be named to Intel® Winners’ Circle. This recognition has acknowledged AAEON’s dedications and accomplishments in multi-access edge computing (MEC) deployments.

The Intel® Network Builders Winners’ Circle Program was established to promote an ecosystem that provides incentives to industry leaders and partners in driving the innovation and transformation of network architectures, and recognizes their efforts and achievements in accelerating commercial availability to users. There are currently three categories for Winners’ Circle partners: Titanium, Gold, and Member. The partners are awarded based on the criteria including but not limiting to open-source contributions, releases of benchmarks, and launches of virtualization, cloud, edge computing or 5G applications using Intel® architectures.

This time, AAEON is acknowledged particularly for its successful MEC deployments in supporting 5G smart manufacturing. AAEON’s FWS-8600, powered by the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, was deployed in a collaborative research and development project as a 5G MEC server to accelerate performance in working with robotic arms, self-driving transport vehicles and automated systems. In addition, FWS-8600 optimizes AI projects in self-driving transport vehicles and production robots thanks to the built-in Intel® Deep Learning Boost engine enabled by the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors.  Along with performance acceleration, FWS-8600 can support a maximum LAN throughput of 300 – 400 Gbps and 512GB DDR4 RDIMM ECC RAM to further boost edge computing capability in 5G smart manufacturing by reducing the latency when high volume of data is generated by autonomous vehicles and collaborative robots.

Awarded once again as Gold Partner in Intel® Network Builders Winners’ Circle this year, AAEON is confident to drive network transformation and innovation, and continue to enrich the networking ecosystem.
