MicroStep continues to invest: “Milestone in the company’s history”

MicroStep Europa GmbH continues to drive its growth course: The service and sales company is investing in new premises at both locations. In Dorsten (North Rhine Westphalia), the groundbreaking ceremony for the new branch office has just taken place. In Bad Wörishofen (Bavaria), a new logistics center with showroom and office space is being built just a few meters from the company headquarters.

The year 2021 promises to be an enormously exciting one for MicroStep Europa GmbH. This is because the service and sales company is investing heavily in its infrastructure. The new building of the Dorsten branch will be completed by fall 2021 (click here for the report). At the same time, there will also be even greater investment and construction at the main site in Bad Wörishofen (Bavaria). Only a few meters away from the company headquarters, a logistics center and the new MicroStep CompetenceCenter South including office space are being built. As a result, the now more than 70 employees will then have 1500 m² of warehouse space and a showroom of around 1350 m² at their disposal. In addition, there is office space of around 800 m².

Investment at the proven location

"The location Bad Wörishofen has absolutely proven itself since the foundation more than 20 years ago. We are pleased to once again be able to invest significantly in our infrastructure and our future, only five years after the construction of the new company headquarters," says Igor Mikulina, founder and managing director of MicroStep Europa GmbH.

Cutting technology and automation solutions come to life

In the new MicroStep CompetenceCenter South, various types of systems covering the broad spectrum of MicroStep will be on show live in the future. State-of-the-art CNC cutting systems with plasma, laser, oxyfuel or waterjet technology in combination with innovative automation and material handling solutions. In addition, rooms for warehouse and logistics as well as training and demonstration purposes are available.

"The investments are another milestone in our company history. After completion of the construction work, we will be able to bring our broad product portfolio to life at both locations and provide consulting and training directly on the technology. The extra warehouse space also means that, despite our immense growth, we can continue to offer the top service that customers and partners have come to expect from MicroStep," says managing director Johannes Ried.
