Custom Templates for Machining Strategies – Many new options allow you to define your own default values and create your own editing strategies. You can create templates that greatly speed up the programming time for repetitive steps.
Tool libraries now give you the ability to add or change tools without opening a new dialogue. You can create copies of whole machine settings and set different job offsets for each copy. When simulating the toolpaths, the used fixtures can be displayed and checked for collisions.
Extensions in almost all CAM areas of BobCAD-CAM increase manufacturing quality and further simplify the creation of toolpaths. Even in the extremely low-cost entry-level version of BobCAM Express, the CAM extensions are already included.
