Agritechnica: Tailor-made plain bearings for industry

Agritechnica, one of the leading trade fairs for agricultural machinery, will take place on November 10 to 16 in Hannover. In Hall 15 Stand E43, MS Motorservice Deutschland GmbH will be exhibiting together with its affiliated company KS Gleitlager GmbH. Both belong to Rheinmetall Automotive AG.

The main focus of the exhibits will be KS Gleitlager’s customized product portfolio, especially for industrial and agricultural machinery, ranging from one-off prototype production to quantities of over 100,000. Customers can choose from a range of more than eighty metal and metal composites, thus benefiting from the complete materials and manufacturing expertise of the manufacturer. In the new Industrial Competence Center at the St. Leon-Rot site, bearings and bushings for agricultural machinery, power engineering and the construction industry are manufactured individually according to customer requirements as well as in small quantities of up to batch size 1.

Another trade fair theme is Permaglide plain bearings for lubricated and dry applications. They are manufactured by KS Gleitlager and sold by its affiliate MS Motorservice Deutschland to wholesalers and industry. They are used wherever the full functionality of the bearing over the entire service life is required, even under extremely difficult and harsh operating conditions such as dirt, moisture, high temperature differences or vibration.

KS Permaglide spherical shells are used in agricultural machinery, for example in the steering system of tractors. A tie-rod ball-and-socket joint serves to transmit power on cushioned wheel suspensions.

Permaglide bearings are available in various designs as bushings, flange bushings, washers, strips or special forms, both lead-free and with lead content.

The aftermarket specialist MS Motorservice Deutschland will also be presenting exhibits for gas engines. The associated product portfolio includes cylinder heads, valves, valve seat rings, pistons, liners and plain bearings.

In addition, the company offers a comprehensive range of services and consulting by also addressing the special wishes and requirements of its customers. From the initial formulation of the problem to the development of design measures to the final production stage, Motor Service sees itself not least as a development partner to its customers.
